Uncertain significance for Cardiovascular phenotype — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_000384.3(APOB):c.5888C>G (p.Ala1963Gly), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.A1963G variant (also known as c.5888C>G), located in coding exon 26 of the APOB gene, results from a C to G substitution at nucleotide position 5888. The alanine at codon 1963 is replaced by glycine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
