Uncertain significance — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_001386125.1(OBSCN):c.21532+3117G>C, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.K6230N variant (also known as c.18690G>C), located in coding exon 80 of the OBSCN gene, results from a G to C substitution at nucleotide position 18690. The lysine at codon 6230 is replaced by asparagine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
