NM_001430.5(EPAS1):c.784A>G (p.Thr262Ala) was classified as Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.T262A variant (also known as c.784A>G), located in coding exon 7 of the EPAS1 gene, results from an A to G substitution at nucleotide position 784. The threonine at codon 262 is replaced by alanine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
