Pathogenic for Centromeric instability of chromosomes 1,9 and 16 and immunodeficiency — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000020.10:g.(?_31368130)_(31592146_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): A gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing the full coding sequence of the DNMT3B gene has been identified. Loss-of-function variants in DNMT3B are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 11102980). The boundaries of this event are unknown as they extend beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with DNMT3B-related conditions. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
