Pathogenic for Catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia 1 — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000001.10:g.(?_116287429)_(116287553_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This variant is a gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 2 of the CASQ2 gene. This deletion is out-of-frame, and is expected to create a premature termination codon and result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in CASQ2 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 12386154). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with CASQ2-related conditions. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
