Pathogenic — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000002.11:g.(?_169780132)_(169874635_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. A similar copy number variant has been observed in individual(s) with progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PMID: 17452236). In at least one individual the data is consistent with being in trans (on the opposite chromosome) from a pathogenic variant. A gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing the full coding sequence of the ABCB11 gene has been identified. Loss-of-function variants in ABCB11 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 18395098, 20232290). The boundaries of this event are unknown as they extend beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes.
