Pathogenic for Cerebral cavernous malformation 3 — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000003.11:g.(?_167402096)_(167437945_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): A gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing the full coding sequence of the PDCD10 gene has been identified. Loss-of-function variants in PDCD10 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 15543491, 18300272, 23801932). The boundaries of this event are unknown as they extend beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes. A similar copy number variant has been observed in individual(s) with cerebral cavernous malformations (PMID: 18060436, 20623299). For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
