Pathogenic — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000006.11:g.(?_31929738)_(31931794_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This variant results in the deletion of part of exon 10, exons 11-15 and part of exon 16 (c.971_1752del) of the SKIV2L gene. This deletion is out-of-frame, and is expected to create a premature termination codon and result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in SKIV2L are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 22444670). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with SKIV2L-related conditions. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
