Pathogenic for Hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal neoplasms — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000007.13:g.(?_6042150)_(6113173_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This variant results in the deletion of exons 1-4 and part of exon 5 (c.-64523_471del) of the PMS2 gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in PMS2 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 21376568, 24362816). For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with PMS2-related conditions.
