Pathogenic — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000008.10:g.(?_140998914)_(141034196_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This variant is a gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 18-19 of the TRAPPC9 gene. This deletion is out-of-frame, and is expected to create a premature termination codon and result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in TRAPPC9 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 2000476, 20004763, 20004764). A similar copy number variant has been observed in individual(s) with autosomal recessive intellectual disability (PMID: 29187737). For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
