Pathogenic — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000008.10:g.(?_116426251)_(119965024_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): A gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing the full coding sequence of the TNFRSF11B gene has been identified. Loss-of-function variants in TNFRSF11B are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 9647741, 26762549). The boundaries of this event are unknown as they extend beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes. A similar copy number variant has been observed in individuals with juvenile Paget disease of bone (PMID: 12124406). For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
