Pathogenic for Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000009.11:g.(?_130586573)_(130592116_?)dup, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This variant results in a copy number gain of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 3-8 of the ENG gene. While the exact position of this variant cannot be determined from the data, sub-genic copy number gains are generally in tandem (PMID: 25640679). This variant is predicted to be in-frame, and likely preserves the integrity of the reading frame. A similar copy number variant has been observed in individual(s) with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (PMID: 10702408; Invitae). In at least one individual the variant was observed to be de novo. It has also been observed to segregate with disease in related individuals. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
