Pathogenic for Juvenile polyposis syndrome — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000010.10:g.(?_88681437)_(88682621_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with BMPR1A-related conditions. This variant is a gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 11 of the BMPR1A gene. This deletion is out-of-frame, and is expected to create a premature termination codon and result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in BMPR1A are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 11536076, 12417513).
