Pathogenic for Jeune thoracic dystrophy — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000011.9:g.(?_103036607)_(103036797_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This variant is a gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 31 of the DYNC2H1 gene. This deletion is out-of-frame, and is expected to create a premature termination codon and result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in DYNC2H1 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 23339108, 32753734, 33755199). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with DYNC2H1-related conditions. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
