Pathogenic for Ataxia-telangiectasia syndrome — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000011.9:g.(?_108113844)_(108175455_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. Loss-of-function variants in ATM are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 23807571, 25614872). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with ATM-related conditions. This variant is a deletion of the genomic region encompassing exons 6-36 and part of exon 37 (c.497-836_5550del) of the ATM gene. It is expected to disrupt RNA splicing and likely results in an absent or disrupted protein product.
