NC_000012.11:g.(?_102147130)_(102164955_?)del was classified as Pathogenic for Pseudo-Hurler polydystrophy; Mucolipidosis type II by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with GNPTAB-related conditions. This variant is a gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 8-19 of the GNPTAB gene. This deletion is out-of-frame, and is expected to create a premature termination codon and result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in GNPTAB are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 19617216, 25107912).
