NC_000016.9:g.(?_86544176)_(86602447_?)del was classified as Pathogenic by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): A gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing the full coding sequence of the FOXF1 gene has been identified. Loss-of-function variants in FOXF1 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 19500772, 23505205). The boundaries of this event are unknown as they extend beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes. A similar copy number variant has been observed in individual(s) with alveolar capillary dysplasia with misalignment of pulmonary veins (PMID: 23505205, 27071622). For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
