Uncertain significance — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_006506.5(RASA2):c.277T>C (p.Phe93Leu), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.F93L variant (also known as c.277T>C), located in coding exon 3 of the RASA2 gene, results from a T to C substitution at nucleotide position 277. The phenylalanine at codon 93 is replaced by leucine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
