NM_004336.5(BUB1):c.902A>C (p.His301Pro) was classified as Uncertain significance by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.H301P variant (also known as c.902A>C), located in coding exon 9 of the BUB1 gene, results from an A to C substitution at nucleotide position 902. The histidine at codon 301 is replaced by proline, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
