This variant is present in population databases (rs773594237, gnomAD 0.007%). This sequence change replaces valine, which is neutral and non-polar, with methionine, which is neutral and non-polar, at codon 1730 of the KMT2D protein (p.Val1730Met). This variant also falls at the last nucleotide of exon 21, which is part of the consensus splice site for this exon.
