Submitter rationale: For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This variant disrupts a region of the SLC29A3 protein in which other variant(s) (p.Arg363Trp) have been determined to be pathogenic (PMID: 19889517, 21888995, 23530176, 27143505, 27364927, 29041934, 29808591; Invitae). This suggests that this is a clinically significant region of the protein, and that variants that disrupt it are likely to be disease-causing. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with SLC29A3-related conditions. This variant is not present in population databases (gnomAD no frequency). This sequence change creates a premature translational stop signal (p.Ser307Lysfs*53) in the SLC29A3 gene.
