This premature translational stop signal has been observed in individual(s) with clinical features of PPOX-related conditions (PMID: 21734717). This variant disrupts a region of the PPOX protein in which other variant(s) (p.Gln435*) have been determined to be pathogenic (PMID: 10486317, 11348478).
