Likely Pathogenic — the classification assigned by ARUP Laboratories, Molecular Genetics and Genomics, ARUP Laboratories to NM_002890.3(RASA1):c.902dup (p.Gly304fs), citing ARUP Molecular Germline Variant Investigation Process 2024: The RASA1 c.902dup; p.Gly304ArgfsTer8 variant, to our knowledge, is not reported in the medical literature but is reported in ClinVar (Variation ID: 2697551). This variant is also absent from the Genome Aggregation Database(v2.1.1), indicating it is not a common polymorphism. This variant causes a frameshift by inserting a single nucleotide, so it is predicted to result in a truncated protein or mRNA subject to nonsense-mediated decay. Based on available information, this variant is considered to be likely pathogenic. References: Revencu N et al.
