Submitter rationale: The DOCK4 gene encodes a protein which acts as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor and has been associated with regulating various processes of brain development. Recent studies have suggested DOCK4 is associated with neuropsychiatric disorders including autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia and schizophrenia (PMID: 32009906, 20346443, 31388105).
