NM_001023.4(RPS20):c.191C>A (p.Thr64Asn) was classified as Uncertain significance by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.T64N variant (also known as c.191C>A), located in coding exon 4 of the RPS20 gene, results from a C to A substitution at nucleotide position 191. The threonine at codon 64 is replaced by asparagine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be deleterious by in silico analysis. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
