The variant allele was found at a frequency of 4e-06 in 249312 control chromosomes. c.1754A>G has been reported in the literature in two homozygous brothers with late onset malignant melanomas (Fassihi_2016) and in a childhood onset anaplastic astrocytoma patient (Muskens_2020). These data indicate that the variant is likely to be associated with disease.
