Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_014915.3(ANKRD26):c.4831T>G (p.Cys1611Gly), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.C1611G variant (also known as c.4831T>G), located in coding exon 32 of the ANKRD26 gene, results from a T to G substitution at nucleotide position 4831. The cysteine at codon 1611 is replaced by glycine, an amino acid with highly dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
