NM_018076.5(ODAD2):c.1862G>A (p.Ser621Asn) was classified as Uncertain significance for Primary ciliary dyskinesia by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.S621N variant (also known as c.1862G>A), located in coding exon 12 of the ARMC4 gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 1862. The serine at codon 621 is replaced by asparagine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
