NM_001184.4(ATR):c.3899G>A (p.Arg1300His) was classified as Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.R1300H variant (also known as c.3899G>A), located in coding exon 21 of the ATR gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 3899. The arginine at codon 1300 is replaced by histidine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
