NM_001085049.3(MRAS):c.601C>T (p.His201Tyr) was classified as Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.H201Y variant (also known as c.601C>T), located in coding exon 5 of the MRAS gene, results from a C to T substitution at nucleotide position 601. The histidine at codon 201 is replaced by tyrosine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
