Pathogenic for Sengers syndrome; Cataract 38 — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000007.13:g.(?_141292926)_(141293005_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This variant is a gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 3 of the AGK gene. This deletion is out-of-frame, and is expected to create a premature termination codon and result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in AGK are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 22284826). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with AGK-related conditions. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
