NC_000007.13:g.(?_75988019)_(75988125_?)del was classified as Pathogenic by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This variant is a gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 1 of the YWHAG gene, which includes the initiator codon. This deletion extends beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product. However, the current clinical and genetic evidence is not sufficient to establish whether loss-of-function variants in YWHAG cause disease. A similar copy number variant has been observed in individual(s) with YWHAG-related conditions (Invitae). In at least one individual the variant was observed to be de novo. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
