NC_000008.10:g.(?_134107268)_(134296554_?)del was classified as Pathogenic for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 4 by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): A gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing the full coding sequence of the NDRG1 gene has been identified. Loss-of-function variants in NDRG1 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 12872253, 23996628). The boundaries of this event are unknown as they extend beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with NDRG1-related conditions. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
