Pathogenic for 3-methylcrotonyl-CoA carboxylase 1 deficiency — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000003.11:g.(?_182733226)_(184094097_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with MCCC1-related conditions. A gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing the full coding sequence of the MCCC1 gene has been identified. Loss-of-function variants in MCCC1 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 11181649, 15359379, 22642865). The boundaries of this event are unknown as they extend beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes.
