Pathogenic — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000010.10:g.(?_101483693)_(101487340_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This variant is a gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 3-5 of the COX15 gene. This deletion is out-of-frame, and is expected to create a premature termination codon and result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in COX15 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 15863660, 21412973). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with COX15-related conditions. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
