Pathogenic for Neuromuscular disease caused by qualitative or quantitative defects of dysferlin — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000002.11:g.(?_71801318)_(71801511_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This variant disrupts a region of the DYSF protein in which other variant(s) (p.Trp1094Arg) have been determined to be pathogenic (PMID: 31268554, 33250842). This suggests that this is a clinically significant region of the protein, and that variants that disrupt it are likely to be disease-causing. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with DYSF-related conditions. This variant is a gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 30 of the DYSF gene. This variant would be expected to be in-frame, preserving the integrity of the reading frame.
