Pathogenic for Mendelian susceptibility to mycobacterial diseases due to partial STAT1 deficiency; Immunodeficiency 31B; Autoimmune enteropathy and endocrinopathy - susceptibility to chronic infections syndrome — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000002.11:g.(?_191835429)_(192012929_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): A gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing the full coding sequence of the STAT1 gene has been identified. Loss-of-function variants in STAT1 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 22651901). The boundaries of this event are unknown as they extend beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with STAT1-related conditions. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
