Likely pathogenic for 3-methylglutaconic aciduria type 1 — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000009.11:g.(?_94118145)_(94118457_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): In summary, the currently available evidence indicates that the variant is pathogenic, but additional data are needed to prove that conclusively. Therefore, this variant has been classified as Likely Pathogenic. A similar copy number variant has been observed in individual(s) with 3-methylglutaconic aciduria (Invitae). In at least one individual the data is consistent with being in trans (on the opposite chromosome) from a pathogenic variant. This variant is a gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 2-3 of the AUH gene. This variant would be expected to be in-frame, preserving the integrity of the reading frame.
