Uncertain significance for Primary ciliary dyskinesia — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_178452.6(DNAAF1):c.2128G>T (p.Ala710Ser), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.A710S variant (also known as c.2128G>T), located in coding exon 12 of the DNAAF1 gene, results from a G to T substitution at nucleotide position 2128. The alanine at codon 710 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
