Pathogenic — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NM_022167.4(XYLT2):c.1454del (p.Phe485fs), citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with XYLT2-related conditions. This variant is not present in population databases (gnomAD no frequency). This sequence change creates a premature translational stop signal (p.Phe485Serfs*26) in the XYLT2 gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in XYLT2 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 26027496, 26987875).
