Pathogenic for Primary ciliary dyskinesia 23 — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NM_018076.5(ODAD2):c.2807del (p.Asn936fs), citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. ClinVar contains an entry for this variant (Variation ID: 2083091). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with ARMC4-related conditions. This variant is present in population databases (rs753602333, gnomAD 0.03%). This sequence change creates a premature translational stop signal (p.Asn936Ilefs*3) in the ARMC4 gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in ARMC4 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 23849778).
