Submitter rationale: This variant is not present in population databases (gnomAD no frequency). This sequence change replaces glutamine, which is neutral and polar, with histidine, which is basic and polar, at codon 794 of the TERT protein (p.Gln794His). This variant also falls at the last nucleotide of exon 7, which is part of the consensus splice site for this exon. In summary, the available evidence is currently insufficient to determine the role of this variant in disease. Therefore, it has been classified as a Variant of Uncertain Significance.
