NM_000384.3(APOB):c.13210G>A (p.Glu4404Lys) was classified as Uncertain significance for Cardiovascular phenotype by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.E4404K variant (also known as c.13210G>A), located in coding exon 29 of the APOB gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 13210. The glutamic acid at codon 4404 is replaced by lysine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
