Pathogenic — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NM_020347.4(LZTFL1):c.256C>T (p.Gln86Ter), citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This variant is present in population databases (no rsID available, gnomAD 0.003%). For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with LZTFL1-related conditions. This sequence change creates a premature translational stop signal (p.Gln86*) in the LZTFL1 gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in LZTFL1 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 22510444, 23692385).
