NM_001792.5(CDH2):c.28A>T (p.Thr10Ser) was classified as Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.T10S variant (also known as c.28A>T), located in coding exon 1 of the CDH2 gene, results from an A to T substitution at nucleotide position 28. The threonine at codon 10 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
