Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NC_000016.10:g.67660280C>T, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.G67R variant (also known as c.199G>A), located in coding exon 1 of the ACD gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 199. The glycine at codon 67 is replaced by arginine, an amino acid with dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
