The variant was absent in 251142 control chromosomes. c.1414-2A>G has been reported in the literature in individuals affected with Spastic Paraplegia 4, Autosomal Dominant (Svenson_2001, Meijer_2002, Dufke_2012, Yang_2021). These data indicate that the variant is likely to be associated with disease. To our knowledge, no experimental evidence demonstrating an impact on protein function has been reported.
