NM_001166108.2(PALLD):c.2132G>A (p.Arg711Gln) was classified as Uncertain significance by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.R711Q variant (also known as c.2132G>A), located in coding exon 11 of the PALLD gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 2132. The arginine at codon 711 is replaced by glutamine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
