NM_006506.5(RASA2):c.1783A>G (p.Lys595Glu) was classified as Uncertain significance by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.K595E variant (also known as c.1783A>G), located in coding exon 18 of the RASA2 gene, results from an A to G substitution at nucleotide position 1783. The lysine at codon 595 is replaced by glutamic acid, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
