Uncertain significance for Inborn genetic diseases — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_015915.5(ATL1):c.968G>A (p.Arg323Gln), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.R323Q variant (also known as c.968G>A), located in coding exon 9 of the ATL1 gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 968. The arginine at codon 323 is replaced by glutamine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is highly conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
